Songs of the Sea is a three
bedroom, three bath (ensuite) villa
located
in the very private, very quiet – and very beautiful – area known as Domaine
de Mont Jean. The villa is entirely surrounded by sea, sky, mountains
and gardens. The villa and its pool,
terrace and deck are perched 216’ (65m) directly above the Atlantic
Ocean; the breathtaking seascape seems to go on forever.
There are extensive outdoor living
areas, terraces and sun decks all set within beautiful flowering gardens with
truly stunning vistas over the sea.
In fact, St. Maarten and Anguilla are easily
visible on the distant horizon - even
though they are 20 to 25 miles away. The evening lights from
these islands are particularly attractive focal points in an otherwise
dark sea.

Mont Jean is a private gated
community of just 20 villas located on
a peninsula thus affording
water views to the east, north and – in
particular – to the
west. Mont Jean is also blessed – and
cooled – by
the easterly trade winds and is one of the two or three most
prestigious locals on St. Barts.
The villa is truly private
and truly quiet. Only one other villa in Mont
Jean is noticeably in view and that one is to the south, towards the
mountains. All the others are as out of sight as they are out of mind.
